Chewy – chewy Gumball-icious
|15.Jan.2007Today’s weather was wonderful. The freezing ice ridded me of any guilt for staying in pajamas all day and downloading, printing out, cutting-out, ironing and sewing little pink (and one blue) kitties.
Thank you Secret Agent Josephine. for sending Gumball to take over the world. It has been a great way to spend a day.
First, we gathered our supplies … um, and a few extras.
Then, we printed out your lovely .pdf on inkjet iron-on transfer paper and cut them out.
You’ll note that a BLUE kitty has appeared amongst the pink Gumball display. A very special thanks to SAJ for honoring the request of my very NOT-PINK-LOVING daughter. She has named this one Blueberry. Blueberry and Gumball have already had many adventures with their American Girl counterparts today.
Bruno particularly liked Gumball.
Doc, not so much.
You can view more Gumball pics if you like.

OK, did you guys make Blueberry form the black & white or did SAJ send you the blue one? My son wants one and he does NOT want pink either.

SAJ linked to a .psd from within the comments of the blog when I asked her if she could do a blue one.
Emelie is in heaven. Today we are making gumball magnets – well, IF Jeff can safely get to Home Depot and back for the silicone sealer we need.

That looks like so much fun. I am loving all of this craftyness that has been overtaking the blogs lately. If only I were so creative.

Are you getting snow yet? I love the ideas..thanks! We are hoping for a snow day tomorrow as today it alluded us! We always love a great craft. What did you sew together to make the pillows? And where can I get a blue one? Obviously Hu wouldnt’ care for pink either. Love E’s hair!

Kim, if you go to Gumball Takes Over the World and look in the comments you’ll find the download for the blue one.
Or, I can send you the .pdf.
I purchased iron-on ink-jet transfer paper at Walk*mart and white muslin. So, I printed it out, cut it out, ironed it on, and watched my seams. :)
