OMSH - Seven Days, Day 5

The 7 Days flickr group is winding to an end with the last day being Christmas; I rather like that – save the best for last perhaps? As you might remember from my Day 2 post, days 2 and 5 have assigned themes. The flickr participants are free to interpret the single word “themes” as tight or loose as they desire; I typically desire to be really loose.

And wow…that didn’t quite sound right.
Moving on.

Today’s theme was silver.
Easy enough, right?
I’ve got silver sweeping from my head in uncompromising Farrah Fawcett-like wings. Is it just me or do you think “nose job” when you view Farrah’s photo? Okay good…I’m not as crazy as I thought.

This 7 Days Project has been much more difficult than I expected. For one, being IN FRONT OF the camera sort of bites; I rather prefer my BEHIND THE CAMERA spot much better. Also? Thinking through my daily contribution means conjuring up a bit more creativity than my typical “check out my kids as they go about their day trying to avoid me” shots.

So I rose to the challenge for an Alternate Day 5 Silver Interpretation.

Day 5 - Theme: Silver ALTERNATE

I think this one beats all.

Naomi – Oh, I was talking about Farrah’s nose – even if mine was a mile wide and my nostrils flared, I’m not sure I could put myself through that kind of nightmarish experience. Eeewww!

It is hard, isn’t it? But 7 days at least forces me to do something I enjoy…I hope you’ve enjoyed it even with the challenge!

You look great, Heather! Not that two days after Christmas is the time to ask, but how’s it going on the weight loss front? (Not that you weren’t lovely before, but your face has thinned out quite a bit; hope you don’t mind my saying so!) Merry Christmas!

Comment if ya wanna.
