Movie night with Mr. OMSH

These are the memories that linger. The house is quiet, the chores are done, and the kids have long since fallen asleep after a half hour of blanket giggles, whispers, and ‘just one more sip of water’ trips to the rest room.

Mr. OMSH puts in a below par movie, but that isn’t significant. What matters is we’re here together, on the couch, sharing glances, touching, loving, being…its all I hoped for and more.

I love it. I told the boy today, “I’d watch CSPAN if you were there to snuggle with me”

Besides, he’s way cuter than whatever is on the screen. And, the guys on the tv, NEVER look at me like he does :)

Yep, that’s what it comes down to. Life doesn’t get much better than that! It’s the little things that create the memories.

Those are my favorite times too. I’m also with you on the below par movies. They suck. But loving husbands are SO worth it.

It’s the best part of the day, isn’t it?

Snuggle-movie-alone time is so much more romantic than all that silly roses and fancy dinners out.

    (shhh….we husbands enjoy it too)
