Furniture Finders

Furniture Finders

|16.Jan.2007

Do you have a favorite furniture find? I do.

I bought this at a regular furniture store – bought it brand new looking for a dresser for my soon-to-be-born 2nd child.

It is a dry goods pantry. I didn’t use it in the kitchen initially. It stored diapers and wipes and little shoes and clothing. I wrote more about that here.

Join the Favorite Furniture Find group and post your favorite piece. Tell us what you use it for and where. Give us a history of sorts.

I get inspiration looking at things through the eyes of others, don’t you?

That is a fantastic piece of furnature. I don’t think I have one yet. I do have a book shelf made up of about 20 different colored milk crates I “got” when I worked at a gas station.

Hey Angela – if those milk crates make you smile – take a picture and upload it. Form + Function + Color (my addition) = great furniture!

That is an awesome piece! And thanks for the link to the Flickr group. Maybe as that grows it will help me be inspired. I’m so stumped as to what I want in my home.

As long as “favorite” isn’t a singular term, I’m right there with you – I often have Favorite Furniture Finds! I blogged about my most recent one this week, a new item that will be delivered tomorrow (I can’t wait)! I didn’t know about the FFF Flicker group. I’ll have to get a few pictures of my previous finds up there – thanks for the link!
