Get Organized – SWAP!
|2.Apr.2008So, the last swap is over and the swap of choice, tote bags, are arriving at their destinations as I write. I received mine just yesterday and was excited to get a bit of sunshine to pop off some shots this morning.
My SWAP came from Kimke, who did a very good job of reading my detailed likes/dislikes list and finding a tote that fits my aesthetics to a ‘T’.
I particularly liked the little beaded detail. It’s funny how the smallest of things can add that extra “umph” that makes you go from an “oh, cute” to an “OH! SO CUTE!”
The wide, double-sewn tote handles are particularly nice, but the lining truly makes the bag. Now, I say this, but recognize that I’m not typically a floral kind of gal. It was actually very daring for her to go with a floral, but it works. It doesn’t just work, it really cozies up to the orange very well.
There are internal pockets sewn on one side that will perfectly fit my iPhone, a pen, pencil and highlighter – the four items that are always with me in every bag.
And though the puzzle didn’t come with the bag, I had to show it off anyhow. We went to The Houston Museum of Natural Science yesterday to meet up with some out of town friends and I fell in love with this 1000 piece puzzle. I have been informed by my mother that I cannot work it until she returns from her trip, so it’ll stay in the box to wait for Izzy and a fresh pot of coffee.

That bag is GREAT! I’m still waiting for mine to arrive, but I know that it’s been sent. I’m trying to decide whether or not to participate in the next swap … I’m moving a couple times so life will be a bit CRAZY!

That tote is adorable. I got mine last week and just sent mine, of course, on the last day. I loved my tote too and it has been on my side ever since. I am loving that puzzle too. I am getting redy to redo my 8 year old room into a big girl room and I was actually thinking of framing puzzles. That one is awesome!
Can’t wait for the next swap. Lord knows I need to be organized!
