It is 4:19 on Saturday afternoon and everyone but Mr. OMSH is still in pajamas. He managed to get up, get to the tire place, get the two back tires replaced on my ‘burb, get two tires replaced on his Civic, go to Walk*mart twice (the dear), go to McCoy’s once, do several “something meaningfuls” outside (not sure what those are though – b/c I haven’t gone outside to swelter in the heat yet), balanced the bank account, pay bills, do some of my design books, and he’s smoked 1/2 a pack of cigarettes.

HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE.

And what I have I done?

I’ve had two cups of coffee, one pbj, and I’ve taken pictures of my son’s alter ego.

“Mommy … I’m a bad guy.”

Mommy ... I'm a bad guy.

Of course you are Kenny – because ALL bad guys wear their daddy’s undershirts, ball caps, John Deere Green Boots, and pick their noses while holding up candy stores.

A bad guy who picks his nose.

The boots? They are one of two pair of shoes he’ll wear. It is either these or a pair of black Crocs with crocodile jibbitz on them. For you Croc haters out there – give me some credit – he doesn’t wear them with white socks … not until winter anyway.

John Deere Green

Jeff worried when we bought these that they wouldn’t get much use. Kenny is PICKY about how things “feel” on his feet. His little piggies are sensitive and he has blocky Fred Flintstone feet. These brilliant green boots are well worn. And y’know, I’m glad, because I never have to worry about spotting him in a crowd.

He certainly stands out.

And dances in his underwear and boots.

Not just for his dancing skills either.

LOL…I love it. My brother wore cowboy boots at that age with EVERYTHING!!

I’ve spent today in jammies too. I love Saturdays like this. Now if only my Aggies pull it out and beat Fresno State, it’ll be a perfect Saturday!

LOL! Awesome. The boots are great, too.

I have many days like yours… dh gets up and goes to work and designs boilers that won’t blow people up all morning, then comes home for lunch and the kids and I are all still in pajamas (if not in varying forms of nakedness).

    MammaLoves – I’m luvin’ yer eye-dialect. :)

nyjlm – Yep, that one’s marked for the senior slide show or rehearsal dinner slide show. I haven’t decided which.

Tara – Did you notice the cap?

Lanna – Oh yes, varying forms of nakedness. I could take that a step further, but for the sake of everyone reading I’ll just say “yes, yes, yes and yes”

MMM – Oh yes, those are his BROWN Crocs that he still plays in. I do believe it is a soccer ball! HA! I’ll have to go back and look again through some pictures … that is too funny.

My son has lime green rain boots and lime green crocs that he wears every where. I can occassionaly get his tennis shoes on instead. But like you said, it makes it easier to locate them!
