Just a Regular Day

I don’t have much to write about today. I’ve spent it plugging away at a client’s site in preparation for a launch on January 10th. I’m very happy with how the site has turned out. It is a collaborative effort on the part of me and Jessica and if I do say so myself, we both “done did good”.
My kiddos are readying to head back to school; they look forward to seeing their friends and getting back to a regular pace. I long for my quiet late mornings and afternoons where only the occasional client phone call and the dogs’ whining at the door interrupt my thoughts.
My Christmas Tree still looms over my shoulder. I still enjoy the glow, but now it feels more like it’s staring at me. I feel it beckoning me to tuck it away nice and neat for the end of this year. I’m going to ignore it for one more day.
Tonight, I have a date with Mr. OMSH. I haven’t been well – run down a bit. I asked for some snuggle time on the couch with a movie and perhaps some cocoa. He’s taking me up on the offer.

That is what I asked for today! I have this nothing cold that normally would be no big deal, but with moving and both kids fighting for head space on my left shoulder, I’m wiped. Snuggles are restorative.

We just did that the other night too. Only problem was I thought I had rented the 3rd Pirates of the Caribean movie, but it was the 2nd. DUH! Thankfully, my hubby was up for a rerun. Hope you enjoy your snuggle time.
