Last day of garage sale!
|27.Oct.2007Will blog later today about all the deliciousness I want to tell you (it’s delicious to me at least). There is a garage sale awaiting me. *sigh* I’m taking my camera – surely there’ll be some good fodder to capture, yes?
For those emailing about being on the new triple-decker blogroll…I’ll get you up there by the weekend’s end. For those wanting in it, please comment in this post and I’ll add you in there too.

And with that, I’m off to find my baseball cap and a long sleeve shirt as this Southeast Texas town is trying to pretend it can get cold.

You know, I really like this idea – featuring readers of your blog in the blogroll. But I wonder – and maybe you’ll answer this in a future post and I should just be patient, LOL – how do you keep the links in *that* list fresh and weed out the dead ones over time? Doesn’t it eventually become as much work as the traditional blogroll in that regard? And how do you know the people who ask to be listed are really loyal readers and not somebody who hopped on the bandwagon for extra publicity?
You know what would be great? The ability to automatically populate this new blogroll with the blog addresses of recent commenters. People who you haven’t heard a peep from in a predetermined period of time could be dropped if you wished.
But then, maybe you’re already way ahead of me on that one? :-)

I love the idea–I’m very unlikely to browse a long list of someone’s blogroll, much less click on any of them, but give me a screen shot of a pretty webpage and I get click-happy.

I noticed that I was on your blogroll. I didn’t ask to be put on it because it isn’t a blog, although it is my personal site. Blog is coming soon, due to inspiration from you and Jessica on the WordPress thingie. I created my site in CSS, so am okay with that, but I suck at graphics, and they have some nice ones in the themes. Something tells me I will be tweaking themes once I dive in.
