I am very excited to announce my first ever contest for kids, ages 1-8! I’m even more excited because the coloring sheet is my own OMSH and MR. OMSH, illustrated by the ever-talented artist, Secret Agent Josephine. (Claps all around please!)

Details

Step 1: Download and print the following coloring sheet either by clicking on the image or the download link below it. Psssssssst…prints best in landscape view.

OMSH Christmas Coloring Contest for Kids!

Click to [download] the OMSH Christmas Coloring Sheet.

Step 2: Have your child(ren) color the sheet and then either take a photo of the colored picture with your child(ren) or, if you don’t want your child(ren)’s photo online, just take a photo or scan in the coloring sheet all by its lonesome.

Step 3: Send the photo or scan to me, with the age of your child written on it, at heather@ohmystinkinheck.com
as an attachment by the deadline, Christmas Eve (12/24/07) at midnight (CST). The winner will be announced on Christmas Day with their special “Christmas Gift” mailed before the NEW YEAR!

All photos will be uploaded to a special Christmas OMSH flickr set to show off your child’s coloring sheet! Be sure to give only your child(ren)’s first name and age. If you desire a link back to your blog, you may send me the URL to your blog too.

How does your child win?

There will be a drawing based on ages. The groups will be divided in ages 1-3, 4-5, and 6-8 with one drawing per age group. There are three different prizes to win!

Prizes

Ages 1-3 Winner will receive one set of Baby Bug Flashcards. These were donated by their illustrator, SAJ. With their kid-friendly designs, rounded corners, and precious little pouch, it’ll be a big hit for teaching the alphabet.

Baby Bug Flashcards

Ages 4-5 Winner will receive one set of Connectagons. I am totally enchanted with this box of 240 brilliant colored, notched circles. They join together to make any number of structures.

Connectagons

Ages 6-8 Winner will receive one of our new family favorites, When Santa Turned Green. Just as a heads-up, your child can be the “Greenius of the Week” at the My Green Santa website simply by submitting their earth-wise ideas.

When Santa Turned Green

And that’s it!

So here’s the recap.

  • Let your child(ren) color the color page
  • Take a photo or scan in color page (with or without your child) and send it to me with your child’s first name and age.
  • Wait for the Christmas Day Drawing

It is EASY!
I can’t wait to see your children’s handiwork!

COOL! This might be a challenge for me, but I’m going to do my best.

    1. I don’t have a camera (yet).
    2. My computer died yesterday, and therefore I cannot use my scanner.
    3. I’m not sure if the scanner at work works.
    4. It is a SWEET picture so I’m going to get Kaylie to color it anyway and do my best to get it to you!
