Secret Crushes
|27.Feb.2008Not wanting to betray my OMSH monster, I have been very careful not to reveal a huge crush I have on another character online. In fact, two characters. It has been a long time since two characters have captured my heart…not since the days of Calvin and Hobbes have I laughed so hard at a cartoon.
But still, how could I not fall in love with these two. Hoops and YoYo, I think I love you.
So, when I get THIS e-card in my inbox from my Aunt Betty I was in heaven. Not only is it a great tool for procrastinating the folding of clothes and the vacuuming of rugs, it also MADE ME LAUGH.

Why did my aunt key in “Keep filling up those cups girls!”, you ask?
BECAUSE I told her how a few of you (and I wish Starbucks told me WHO so I could thank you individually) have been kind enough to use the OMSH coffee link in my footer to give me some coffee lovin’. Honestly, it made me all giddy and got me through a week of looooooooooooooong work days.
So, this is me saying thank you, thank you, thank you.

I bought my sister a Hoops & YoYo coffee mug for Christmas. When you push the button, they sing – about drinking lots and lots of coffee and having to pee. I laughed and played it repeatedly until I left it in her capable coffee drinking hands. Now all I have left is this silly song in my head. :P

I have been in love with Hoops and YoYo for about two years. They. are. the. BEST! I gave my kiddos Hoops and YoYo V-day cards this year and those were their favorites. My kiddos will sit at the computer and laugh together as long as I let them watch the cards. Did you know they have their own blog?

OMG, they have a blog! Don’t tell me that! I’ll end up staying up til all hours reading every entry. I LOVE HOOPS AND YOYO! Discovered them a couple of years ago and whenever I want a good laugh (the kind that makes me laugh out loud and the kids come running to ask why I’m laughing so hard) I go to their cards and watch any one of them. They are awesome! And now I see there are a few I’ve missed. Gee, I wonder what I’ll be doing for the next hour?
