Valentine's Day Cards

Meant to post this on the 14th, but of course I didn’t get a chance to do so. Still, I wanted to show you the Valentine’s Day cards the girls designed for their school swap. They both did a great job and were excited they could give away their own drawings.

This is the front of Meredith’s:

Meredith drew everything on this card and then we selected her font together. The back is blank so she could write in BIG LETTERS (1st grade handwriting) each of her friends’ names in her class.

Here is the front of Emelie’s:

And then, the back:

She wanted hers more in postcard format – and of course, writes considerably smaller than her younger sister. This looks a little crooked. We’ll blame it on the cutting mat, the shifting paper or the way the moons aligned, because I would NEVER cut such a wacked line. Oh no, not I.

I’ve only received 4 of 14 of my Valentine’s Day Cards from the swap, but the post mark deadline was the 14th, so I am excited to see them arrive in my mailbox in the next few days. So far my favorite Valentine’s Day Card from the swap was from Cardboard; isn’t this swheat?

Those are both great! Very cute!
I got a card from my friend that I have coffee with every week- she wrote Happy ValentiMe’s day.
HA! Only she wasn’t making a cute pun, she pronounces it that way too.I just kept cringing every time she said it. ICK.
