|23.Jun.2011When contacted by Esther Crawford to redesign ShePosts.com, I was thrilled for the opportunity. ShePosts is the first site dedicated to sharing news about the Mom blogging world.
In addition to blogging conferences and events, Esther and her Contributors generally cover topics like social media and tech, marketing campaigns, best practices, and ultimately are expanding to include more of what women are doing online.
This project required several custom template designs, custom programming and plugin tweaks to meet the needs of Esther, her Contributors and their audience; including Esther’s desire for an overall aesthetic upgrade with site-wide creative consistency.
Design conversion and custom programming was completed by my colleagues at Foliovision. They also managed the Drupal to WordPress migration and gave Esther back her comments from Disqus seamlessly.
ShePosts is a truly active site with multiple daily posts, so don’t be surprised to find they are still moving through their design templates to get all their text links active. Still, throughout the design process and even now, Esther and her contributors continue to bring up-to-date and relevant information for mom bloggers; get on over there and subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!
