Yep, I’ll be at Blogher ’11.

Hotel room reserved.
Savings depleted.
The last Blogher I attended was in 2007. I roomed with Jessica. We rode in a limo, several taxis, wore cool shoes, perfected our storytelling, smelled Ree’s burps, ate amazing meals and we attended a session here or there too.
It was buckets of fun.
Yep, buckets.
Then, in 2008, 2009 and 2010 I took a break from conferences. There are various reasons, but none are related to Blogher–it was life. Y’know, how “life” goes.
But now?
I’m ready (actually I was ready last year, but something came up).
So, if you’ll be at Blogher ’11 look for me!

I’ll be the one in blue jeans and boots — yes, in the dead of the summer.
Oh, and grey hair.
I’m easy to spot.

Still haven’t made up my mind. I’d kinda like to go, but there are about three other trips this year we really NEED to make so I don’t know if I can justify it, especially since there’s a good chance we’ll move back to San Diego next.
But hey, one of the trips we need to take is to Texas, so I’ll get to see ya anyway. :-)

I have to say I absolutely love your hair!!! when I go completely gray, I hope it that gorgeous (I’m probably getting there, I still look better with darker hair) gray still washes my skin color out making me look worse than usual :-))

Jackie, the trick to grey hair is lip gloss and mascara. Otherwise my face would disappear too. Of course, summer helps with a little color, but since I don’t want to look 80 before I’m there…I’ve slowed on that considerably.

you have been one of the bloggers who has inspired me and now….I hope, I hope, I hope….that I will get to meet you face to face and offer squeals of delight and hugs. Goodness, I hope that doesn’t sound too stalkerish. Seriously, I FINALLY was able to attend last year and just HAD to find a way to come back for more this year. It helps that it is closer to home, just a day’s drive or an hour flight.
I do hope that we do get to meet this summer. I can offer a number of bloggers as references that I am not a stalker.

Cannot believe how easy this might be… I had no idea it is in SD this year. Possibly, in your *free* time… could you give me a little break-down on the conference? Maybe top five or ten reasons I should get off my posterior and register today? It’s not that I am shy, insecure, reluctant, intimidated… okay, yeah… all of the above and more.

Natalie, there is no such thing as “big leagues” for the majority of us. It is a big meet-up where we all meet, greet, hug, share stories, sit, listen, and enjoy.
